Ahhh, but are they reporting truthfully and completely? That's the question. And the answer is probably, "no, they're not." And then you have to wonder why that might be -- probably because this makes a "better" story.

I seriously doubt that you blindly accept media stories in general; but you and others appear to be doing so in this case ... why?

I'm making an observation: the only information appears to come from the aggrieved parties. The other side is not being presented.

You can believe it if you want ... but I've had real-world experience with this sort of thing, and have also seen dozens of "more to the story" stories on FR that fit this pattern.

It's a sad story in any case, but the real facts are almost certainly not so stark as you apparently wish them to be.

It's all about your willingness to be spun, FRiend. And this is, sadly, a "spun" story.
