What was the point of this? Why didn’t they release them when Hillary was there? Is this the ole’ we can’t let a woman get the best of us...or is Hillary setting up for Bill to run again.

I don’t understand why Bill is the one that saved the day.

Didn't Bill give Kim a whole bunch of aid, or at least look the other way?

Without it, Kim would probably be gone by now.

Basically it's because it is a huge feather in Kim's hat that a former president of the United States came personally to effect the release. Kim is always looking for worldwide validation for his disgusting little government. Even if the deal was already in place, I'm willing to bet that it was contingent on Clinton coming himself. He has the gravitas needed for the situation and, whether we like it or not, always will. None of the other major players associated with the current administration have it and that includes Hilary.

Bill Richardson, who has negotiated other hostage releases with the North Koreans, said that the fact that Kim himself met with Clinton is huge. He said that is never done in these kind of situations. He said Kim would never have done it if it hadn't been Clinton.
