That pic on Drudge looks photoshopped. Their heads don’t match their bodies - Clinton’s is too small & KJI’s is too big.

Before we do the happy dance we should find out what concessions and how much $$$ Clinton handed over for these two Al Gore employees.

Watch the news media fawn over these women all week with video of their tearful family reunions and Bill Clinton the hero. Our security and our tax money was probably traded for these two.

It will give the media a lot of airtime to bury the brouhaha over the health care bill.

Then the two useful idiots will write a book and go on tour making themselves a nice amount of cash. I’m sure they will reimburse the taxpayer with those funds don’t you think?

Look for them to be on The View by Monday.

I would think that the publicity given their ‘mercy’ would be enough to make this a bad deal for the USA. These journalists were pawns in the game and stature of the US in the eyes of our enemies will be significantly diminished.

I'm very happy they are free and would not change that, even under the circumstances. But we have to understand their freedom came at a cost, maybe not of cold hard cash, we have none of that to give, but at the cost of how our ability to handle the next ‘crisis’ is damaged.

This is one of those situations that a lot of people are going to applaud as an example of how The One is gifted in handling our enemies, but I think in the end it will be simply another example of the US being a paper tiger in the eyes of its enemies. Not a big deal maybe, but if it encourages those who wish us ill it could have unforeseen consequences. That's the thing about The Law of Unintended Consequences, it makes something look good for a time, but then the true cost becomes apparent.

We'll see. Meanwhile I'm very pleased these two are coming home. Maybe next time they'll stay clear of border areas where they don't belong. For all we know, knowing the classlessness of the Obama administration, the whole thing could be a set up.

Bill Clinton’s foundation does a lot of work in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Seems Gore owns the television station that sent these journalists out there, they got caught, so Gore calls in a marker from Clinton to get them out. The White House doesn’t want to talk about it because they really didn’t have much to do with it.

Wanna lay bets the reason Obama never said anything before was he sent Bill Clinton out to fail so he could screw him and Hillary politically if he did but Bill Clinton didnt and hence makes Obama looking like the chump he is.

I reckon the reason that Obama said nothing before was he was expecting Clinton to come home empty handed and he could then have sidelined both Clintons as failures except Clinton delivered and suceeded where Obama had intended him to fail.

Sorry but I think Obama tried to set Bill and Hillary up and failed miserably.

In the end, the Clintons delivered because you can bet Bill will say Hillary advised him and Obama just looks like he aint running the show again.

The Clinton just look like they are running the administration and not bambi.

Oh i’d laugh myself silly but i just heard that “apparently” the koreans personally asked Hillary to send Bill to get the journalists, after rejecting Gore and Richardson. Bambi tried to send all his pals first, the Koreans said no and wanted only Bill, hence why Obama is calling this a “private visit”.

He is furious.

What exactly is good about this?

Two typical Liberal “journalists” selfishly want to scoop a story...bungle the effort. Then at a time when the LAST thing we want is to let up pressure on N Korea and give Kim Jong Mentally ill a fantastic photo op with a president, lend his fiendish tyranny legitimacy and give him God knows what...money? backing off the 6 way talks?

Yeah, melodramatic story about the two women and meanwhile millions of Japanese and Americans are at danger of getting nuked!

I see nothing good about this.

BTW, we have now 3 more Darwin candidates in Iran. No doubt these lefties have also denounced the US in protests and folk songs, yet now they want the US to ‘help” them...”Aw gosh, we were just hiking in a war zone cause we thought it was soooo cool.”

I wonder if there is any correlation of Bill going to N Korea & Hillary going to Kenya with exposure of Hussein not being qualified to be POTUS?

Thats amother thing. The Clintons aren’t even calling any shots, the Rockafellers and other Elite are the ones making the rules for the rest of us. All this is mere sideshow to keep us entertained. They want us focused on the health care debate, but not in a real sense, they want us more interested in it for the entertainment value rather than actually thinking about what it means. The sheep are awake, but there’s too much noise to discern the truth.

I’m sure there was a quid pro quo, but I’ll take the high road and thank former pres Clinton for his effort.

Maybe Bubba took lessons from Monica and got on his knees and “begged” Kimmie, ala McGovern ‘72.
