Chris Matthews’ guest on Hardball last night just doesn’t get it. Rep. Lloyd Doggett, Democrat from Texas, had some unkind things to say to Matthews about those “Conservatives and Libertarians” who, he asserts, are sabotaging the health care “debate” in America.
It seems that Doggett, along with Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania and others in Congress who support Barack Obama’s push to socialize our health care system, have been met with people actually disagreeing with them at town hall meetings. Imagine, the common people thinking that they may have something to add to the debate about how the government wants to spend their money — the insolence!
After being confronted by hundreds of angry constituents at his town hall meeting in Austin over the weekend, Doggett went on to relate what happened there after being prompted by this screwball question from Matthews:

Anyone who vaues the opinion of lightweight like Chris Matthews should seriously qualify for psychiatric analysis.
These assclowns got the Douche Bag elected, along with a complicit Congress. 2010 can’t come soon enough...
No: people who believe in “freedom” are zany. It’s not really “freedom”, you see, merely a Social Construct imposed by powerful forces to create the “illusion” of choice. Only Progressives can truly free us from our bondage and provide us with the things we need and therefore deserve to have, because only Need matters. But first, they must take things from those who have amassed them, for the Common Good. It’s for The Children.

Well you didn’t they would fall over with their legs in the air now did you? Oh course they are bleating like sheep, they saw a once unstoppable juggernaut sliding off into a ditch. The snarky dismissive attitude is par for the course and talk about zany, I can’t wait till some of the critics here start getting teabagged also, like Matthews and Press and book signings, townhalls, etc. They will really go into orbit. Looks like we have them on the run fellows, let’s keep it up, better watch out Matthews we may just have to find out where you live and protest out front of your liberal enclave.

Maybe Chris does not know the survival rate for prostate cancer in the US is 95% plus and only 57% in Europe. Or maybe he is cool with that (does not want to live that long anyway).
I don’t know how much weight you can give to the opinion of a “man” who reports things tingling up and down his leg. Chris Matthews is as loony as they come.
