Names, Birthdates, # in graduating class, rank in class, demographic data, control goup stats...

Yeah, we thought so.

Doesn't appear to have kept Rick Warren from going over to the Dark Side, either. Then there's Fred Phelps.....

Where’s the evidence that teaching evolution only is improving public school science education?

I hate to break it to you GGG, but SPECIAL CREATION may be the ONLY ALTERNATIVE to the theory of evolution...........but it does not belong in the SCIENCE classroom in any manner.

....but I note that you didn't call it "the ONLY SCIENTIFIC ALTERNATIVE"...

Likewise for the evos.....

Evos are the ones who claim that teaching creation will harm science education in this country. Show us from history even, how the teaching of only evolution in the schools has improved science education in this country.

That should be easy to do because there's been decades of evolution only taught.

As far as names and stuff, that's not just intellectually dishonest, but just outright dishonest. You know the policies concerning internet privacy on FR and compromising screennames. Your challenge means nothing for a couple reasons. One is that it would reveal personal information about individual FReepers which, when not forthcoming, evos will say *Sure, just as I thought*.

The other is, the information about other students is confidential information and cannot be gathered without hacking into a school's or universities records, which is illegal.

Lastly, even if accurate records of individual students were produced, it would be blown off as made up or the results would be twisted as was tried earlier with the scores that my kids had.

Again, evos keep claiming that the teaching of creation along with evolution will hurt science education. Evolution only has been legislated and taught for decades in this country. Show us the improvement since creation was ejected from the curriculum.

You really needed to shout out to your echo chamber for that?

You make the claims, you produce the proof. Modern science (and the 10’s of millions that support it) speaks for itself, and has produced more than enough proof.

So, are you ever going to argue anything in support of evolution or are you just going to keep using the evo threads as springboards to spew your anti-Christian, God hating bile?

For all those evolutionists who wonder why creationists consider them atheistic God haters, guess why.....

That's up to the parents in the local school districts to decide.

It’s and easy way to get you and those like you to display your ignorant, hate filled, bigoted, and completely un-christianlike behavior.

By your own admission, then, you're simply baiting creationists and Christians.

I see.

Same song different verse, is avoidance, misdirection, and ridicule, all you have?

Must be because your reply was totally lacking in any supporting evidence.
But then when the facts do not support your argument all that is left is that “liberal” straw man to knock down.

Let me assist you since you are plainly factually challenged. Lucy is a 3.2 million year old Australopithecus afarensis fossil discovered in northern Ethiopia, Ida is a 47 million year old Darwinius massillae fossil discovered in Germany who’s overall proportions and anatomy resemble that of a lemur.

I would also see red flags when peer review shows your hypothisis to be flawed…………

“The burden of proof is upon intelligent design advocates to show through scientific research that intelligent design is a useful scientific proposition. If they did, the science-funding agency review panels would gladly fund such research. As things stand now, intelligent design can be considered neither scientific nor useful for understanding nature.

There has been a history of promissory notes from intelligent design proponents, but where is the actual research? Here we can agree with intelligent design proponent Stephen C. Meyer when he says, “The debate isn’t going to be settled by numbers, it’s going to be settled by the evidence and the arguments.” But these arguments must be made to the scientific community, not to the movie-going public.”

“Today, the theory of evolution is an accepted fact for everyone but a fundamentalist minority, whose objections are based not on reasoning but on doctrinaire adherence to religious principles” ~ James D Watson.

Modern science (and the 10’s of millions that support it) speaks for itself, and has produced more than enough proof.

Your first error is in assuming that "modern science" and "evolution" are contiguous. They are not. Evolution had diddly to do with about 95% of "modern science."

see post 154, and try harder.

Care to show me how evolution played into any of the advances of modern science in engineering, chemisty, physics, aerodynamics, meteorology, metallurgy, polymer science, material science, geology, oceanography, climatology, ad infinitum?
