So what is their evidence for their claims?

FACT #4: We have not endorsed President Obama's plan. In fact, we haven't endorsed any plan.

Anytime a ‘RAT uses the word “truth” more than three times in an email, you can bet you’ve just had your leg peed on.

Even if rationing isn’t currently in the bill, at a later date policy can be changed by the D.H.H.S.

Gov’t should NEVER have control of health care.

There really needs to be a “non-political” organization for retirees.

AARP started off with the right idea but they’re obviously run by extremist liberal hacks.

They need some competition from an less liberal group.

Honestly, I don’t think this group gives a damn about elderly anymore. All they want from the elderly is dues.

Just received my very first ever correspondance from AARP (well, actually it came to my home address, but I work out of town during the week - I haven’t yet read it). I guess that means (according to my wife) that I’m officially and old person (didn’t realize 50 was old). I’ll be curious to see the correspondance to see if it contains anything about health care.

Rationing WILL happen, it’s a consequence of the program. To say that it is not mandated is political trickery on seniors and it’s disgraceful. These people will stop at nothing.

THERE IS NO REFORM TO THE BILL, IT WILL COST THE TAXPAYER MORE THAN THE CURRENT SYSTEM AND LOWER CARE.

Did you turn them in to the Typical-White House for sending ‘fishy’ emails about healthcare?

Straight from the propaganda room at the Whitehouse...

It's a strange coincidence that their "facts" just happen to be identical to the talking points cards that the Obama Administration gave to democrat congressmen before the August recess (their was a story about that a couple days ago).

Maybe AARP needs to change their name to the "Axelrod Association for Recycled Propaganda"

FACT #2: No legislation currently in Congress would mandate the rationing of care. Period.

Legislation not really needed for that. It's the shortfall of money that will bring about rationing of health care.

I left them years ago. I might re-join just so I can quit in protest again. . . . .
NAH I can't let them have any of my hard earned money.
