"Nationalist and German were considered to be right-wing terms.."

Huh?!?!

The NAZI Party was the National Socialist German Workers' Party or NSDAP.

Right Wing means smaller government, less government control!
Left wingers or LIBERALS want more government control. Left wingers WANT dictatorships. The NAZI government was a DICTATORSHIP!! It was very left wing.

The NAZIS .... were NATIONALISTS... right wingers are FEDERALISTS! A federalist want smaller pockets of government that the citizens can control. A nationalist (like liberals) want a larger centralized single government.

Nationalist and German were considered to be right-wing terms.?!?!? Where did you learn that garbage noobie?

I have read libs that spout that line. Hitler was a national socialist, totally left wing....Hated Jews and Christians, gee, that sounds like todays democrat party..Hitler being right wing is just the lefts way of covering their own ass..The government controlled all production or heavily regulated it, as in Italy....Communist control all, nazi control or regulate to death...This guy is just spouting propaganda..

Exactly correct. Hitler disbanded the German States, disbanded the nobility and created a unified State. This is exactly why today's Germany is the Federal Republic of Germany. The 1949 constitution of Germany specifically aimed to divide powers to prevent a centralized State. The constitution re-founded German States (Bavaria, North-Rhein Westphalia, etc.), abolished the dominating State of Prussia.

The former German Democratic Republic (East Germany) was split into several new German States and added to the Federal Republic.

So, the reaction to Hitler's centralism lasts to this day in Germany, which has maintained the freedom of its citizens for a longer period than any German State in history.
