I would never watch one second of Rachel Maddow’s program so this news is really news to me.

And I had held out hope that Francis Schaeffer’s son would bring honor and continuing influence for his mother and father’s wonderful work at L’Abri and his father’s tremendous work in Christian apologetics. (How Should We Then Live is one of my all time favorite books).

But it looks like the son of the great Francis Schaeffer has taken a turn to the dark side. Rachel Maddow’s program is so full of hate that it oozes into the frame and fabric of the minds of any who view her.

So sorry for this news....and it is sickening to boot.

>>>Speaking of nutjobs!

He’s quite sane in comparison to his audience. Check out this thread on a leftwing gay board thread discussing this appearance.

“OMFG, Rachel Maddow just had a guest on who STRONGLY stated he believes Obama will be harmed by a right-wing nutjob!”

It is very sad to me, as well. If Frankie is trying to discourage people, in my case, he has succeeded. It is heart rending to see such a bitter man repudiate what is largely his heritage. He was given so much. It is just tragic.

I agree....

It's especially sad, however, when someone like Frankie does his best to embarrass & ridicule his father's good name.
