Chris Dodd ain't the only 'rat crook.
I'm sure the media will be ready to report all this news...because they love to hold politicians feet to the fire.
Oh wait, you say they're Democrats?? Never mind. This'll be ignored.

It was bad enough when I knew he was blocking the subpoenas. But to find out HE was one of their beneficiaries....it just burns me up!
ANd then there’s the gall of using the Senate Ethics Committee’s phony exoneration as an excuse to stonewall...
Well, only those who feel thoroughly safe from media scrutiny would behave like this. The media is a disgrace.

It is fine and well to attack Country Wide, actually there are several of the SOBs that need to be in jail. But to post something as silly as saying so and so are blocking a subpoena is beyond stupid and makes you look bad. The majority still rules in this country. It takes a 51% vote of a committee to issue a subpoena.

Can the chairman choose not to bring up the motion for a vote? Can the chairman not pull his influence with others of his party?
Gimme a break dude.

This wasn’t about Dodd. It was another person...some House chairman....

I look at this whole story like the one where the republicans got caught handing out K street checks on the house floor. The democrats called a press conference to attack the republicans, one of the reports asked the democrats if they had ever handed out K street checks on the house floor. The press meeting ended rather shortly.
Both side play this silly game of block the subpoena, but keep digging sooner are later you will find some republicans that got country wide loans as well.
