Okay, the second segment of MTP is to push the idea that the stimulus package was really good and it’s working great but it’s real hard and we all have to be patient.

Oh, and it’s to push the idea that we are all going to have to sacrifice and the middle class is just going to have to pay more in taxes.

Do they not see how transparent they are?

Unless some catastrophic event ‘impacted’ them almost simultaneously, the issue is irrelevant.

If the VP had to ‘move up’, he/she would/could immediately appoint a new VP, pending almost immediate Congressional approval.

That makes the VP slot an effective ‘buffer’ by putting the new VP ahead of The Speaker, etc.

do you think the DEMS figured out ( after the fact) that their strategy wasn’t working?

Of course, they haven’t yet figured out why people are upset.

Michael Bloomberg never met a camera he didn’t love.

Because frankly he should back at the scene if he really cared, go to hell.

You’re right though....come on...Gregory’s telling Bloomberg how brave and strong he is (MTP not on here yet so I’ll be watching to see this bit of theater) when people have died and loved ones grieve?

You can’t make this stuff up.

Mitch McConnell is doing a great job with Chris Wallace.

Re Administration accusations of anti-public health care protesters being organized, he said - it is ridiculous for the folks with an 8 million dollar email list, called “Organizing for America” to be criticizing other people who want their opinions to be heard.
and
Congress will be aggressively opposed on a bipartisan basis to closing Guantanamo by next January.

And for our third template on MTP, it’s gun control and the evil NRA and it is only the NRA that thinks citizens should have the right to have guns.

Unless we take away peoples guns, police officers will not come home to their families.

I cannot believe this. This is on the level of Dora the Explorere.

Coming up on Fox Sunday: discussion of tea parties.

Let me guess: Not one of the panelists will express the voice-lessnes felt by millions of Americans who are trying to stand up against a powerful juggernaut directed by their own government.

They say we’re “Organized”..Ha! Do we LOOK organized? We don’t have professions spokespersons (unlike the gov’t talking heads WE pay for). We have no funding. We don’t have talking points.

When did the media stop caring about the powerless vs. the powerful?

Before it gets busy in here, I’d like y’all to know that I am reading Ann Coulter’s “GUILTY” and it’s the best, folks, the absolute best. Gonna do a book review on it on my Blog next week.

I get squishy about reading these types of books because often they tell me stuff I already know and it just makes me mad all over agin. But this book, folks, I learned so much from it, stuff even I didn’t know.

It’s worth every second to read and Ann does a great job with writing as always.

I missed the first part of FNC as I was listening to a local talk radio interview of Michelle Malkin on her new book...Culture of Corruption...out two weeks and #1 on NYT best seller list.

Chris Wallace, for the second time this program has mentioned emails being circulated that coach demonstrators to be disruptive. I haven’t gotten mine! I wonder if this is just more smokescreen from the left.

It has occurred to me that for the Silent Majority, watching years of media-sanctioned protests that push leftist agendas, has been the model for the demonstrators who get loud, not an email from some anonymous person.

It is anonymous, because if Chris Wallace wanted to name an agency responsible for this, he certainly would.

I haven’t receive any of Wallace’s “disruption” emails either. I’m astounded that the two libs on FNS claim that the Town Meetings are working to the Democrats’ advantage!

That guy Hayes so sooooo wrong. He says the Democrats are winning the public debate about health care as they’ve managed to make it all about the town hall meetings.

sometimes these pundits are so off the plantation; they don’t understand what MOVES us peons out here in la-la land.

These so-called “yelling” matches going on across the country are garnering way more attention than any boring and droning debate by the politicos or appointees.

More of us are looking up from our newspapers or changeing the baby’s diaper at the sound of shouting citizens. Maybe some boring drone is not speaking at a podium, either for or against the health care thing, but that diaper-changer sees angry citizens, hears a sound byte about gubmint health care and we get the visceral feeling that this thing is bad, bad, bad.

the pundit like the guy at the weekly standard, he don’t think like us who have to mow lawns and worry about the bills. The Dems are masters at it and they know all this brouhaha is bad for them. They know sound and sight bytes, damn they are the ORIGINAL ORGANIZERS and this is why.

So for that guy to say that the Dems are winning the debate because focus is on all the noise and shouting at the town halls....THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT WE WANT.

We got to tell them everything.

some catastrophic event

That's their specialty!

Like the "suicide" where the victim was shot in the back, run over by a train and tossed into a dumpster.

It is really sick! By the way, Bloomberg trotted out the same old Dem lines against guns.

If he takes on the NRA, he will lose. All Americans that support the 2nd amendment know that the intent of his “reasonable” restrictions on gun ownership is to keep guns out of law abiding citizen’s hands.

Criminals don’t pay attention to gun laws...

FNS panel discussion future of "healthcare reform" bill and the impact of the public opposition to it.

Cici and Mara commenting on the possibility that there may wind up being no public option, and Obama not insisting on it.

Wallace asked about funding, the women indicated "taxing the wealthy"

Wallace said "surprise surprise."

As an aside....the gun control thing is a fine example of the sophistication of Americans since the time of the Brady bill.

9-11 helped with that matter as well. But do you notice that gun control laws don’t gain much traction anymore? The big cities try it...like Bloomberg and D.C. But Americans just aren’t as gullible like we were with that Brady thing.

After something like Brady, the libs could come out on the public stage, hat in hand, sadness on their faces, and plead that we take away guns, that fine folks like Brady suffer because of liberal gun laws.

I think these random mass shootings, rather than turning the tide AGAINST gun control, as well as 9-11-01, make Americans convinced that the criminals get the guns no matter what so they ain’t taking away ours.

At least one lib issue bites the dust, albeit it slowly.
