WASHINGTON — With their votes against Sonia Maria Sotomayor last week, Republicans snuggled up to their broadcast image as the incredible shrinking frat house of white males.
The GOP once courted the Latino vote. But on Thursday, both Republican senators from three states carved out of old Mexico in the 19th century— Texas, Arizona and Utah— all voted against the newest Supreme Court justice.
OK, one of the six was a woman, Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson of Texas. But she is running against an incumbent governor, Rick Perry, who is courting macho extremists who think secession from the United States might not be a bad idea.
Twenty-five other Republicans joined the sextet. Were they oblivious to the old news that Hispanics are the fastest-growing share of
registered voters? Texas and Arizona are nearly a third Hispanic.
Opposing Republican senators acted out a version of Nixon’s “Southern Strategy” of appealing to angry white males, now backed by the drumbeat of hired brown-shirts wrecking Democratic town meetings in the August recess, racist cartoons flooding the Internet and the rant on Fox News that President Obama has a “deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture.”

This is not a racist post. It is an indisputable fact. The Christian white man in America is the person who pushed for and bled for the freedom of Black Americans. It was the Christian White (Generally Republican) Americans that pushed for Woman's Suffrage, and for civil rights for minorities. And it is the Christian White man who allows the government to continue to keep the borders open allowing large quantities of illegal immigrants into the country.
Continue to push the White Man and see what happens. They may actually one day decide that they don't need anybody else. I am with the Rev. James David Manning, White people gonna riot.

Krugman is just another in a panolpy of intellectual bankrupt DemoLiberals who fall back on the “cry wolf” racism charge to win an argument. They cry “racism” faster than the race hustlers Sharpton and Jackson. Cris Matthews is the “Waco Kid” of throwing the race card! But many in the “Main stream” Media, are almost as fast.
This is why Democrats think they can do whatever they want. It reveals a massive error in demographic analysis.
Hispanics are members of the white race. They are European descendants after all. The Spanish-American is an ethnicity, not a race. If hispanic is a race, then being irish would be considered a race.
Texas has always been one third hispanic. These idiots haven’t a clue about the history of Texas. I bet it would surprise them that Texas was once even part of Mexico.
Anyway, the most important part of demographic analysis is the birth rate and the age of the population. It is the fall of the birth rate that is causing the population pyramid to turn into a diamond and destroy nations with elaborate retirement systems like Japan and nations in Europe. It is the fall of the European birth rate and the rise of Muslim birth rate which is why Muslim population is rapidly growing in Europe for example.
In America, when one party advocates abortion, advocates homosexuality, advocates feminism, you do not have many children. Since beliefs are primary transferred from parent to child, there is going to be a big problem for the Democrats in the future.
Democrats didn’t see hispanics votings in a majority for W. Bush as governor of Texas. They certainly are not seeing that hispanics are a big reason why California voted down gay marriage.
Let them pretend to be in their fantasy world that they will never lose another election for forty years.

"GOP courts Hispanics" is played against opposition to amnesty, and is called a futile effort.
"GOP nominates Palin" is played as a cynical attempt to court women voters, a futile effort.
"GOP courts religious right" is played as appealing to bigots and narrow-minded hicks.
"GOP courts African-Americans" with selecting Clarence Thomas, Condolezza Rice, Michael Steele, et. al., to high offices, as a futile effort.
Apparently, to the Leftthere are no voter blocs that are suitable for the GOP to court.

Last time media socialists screeched about “angry white males”, you remember what happened? This is a good sign.
There is a certain world view that fears the “angry white male.” That is why that the media minions mock, attack and seek to marginalize the “White Male.” The Anglo Saxon has been a terrible thing when enraged. It remains to be seen if that capacity remains.

Ahem. It is Ted Kennedy (DuMass) who is officially on record opposing Bush's judicial nominees SPECIFICALLY because they were Hispanic.

It is. White men are the most tolerant and indulgent on the planet. No real cruelty is ingrained in European culture and stuff that is has been phased out. If Northern whites hadn’t care about slavery, blacks would still be slaves and women in the kitchen.
It can’t be disputed that white civilization, and Asian as well, are the most forward civilizations on the planet. We’re busy blasting along and colonizing cyberspace and merrily building a more efficient society while other civilizations lag behind.
How about the “bitter single females”
who are “married to Uncle Sam”?
