We are closer to passing health care reform than we've ever been in the history of this country, and the opposition knows it. The small, lobbyist-funded right-wing is trying to scare Members of Congress and the American public away from supporting health care reform. We can't let fear win - America has been at the mercy of the insurance industry from too long. We need health care reform now, and we can't wait any longer.
You can help fight back against these right-wing disrupters. Follow the steps below to attend events in your area and get trained on how to deal with disruptions, intimidation, and name-calling at the events.
With a little energy, planning, and knowledge, we can fight back against the right-wing and win health care for all!

“I just can’t bring myself to go over to the DU—are you serious?”
It sickens and saddens me to visit DU, once I get past the disgust and hatred. To quote Sun Tzu; “Know yourself and know your enemy and you will know and you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles.”
We can’t fight what we don’t know, like how they think, what pulls their strings, and yes, what their strengths are. They do have strengths and some (believe it or not) smart folks with some seriously deranged views. They are a bellwether of the hard core lefties. I must admit I like watching them eat their own over petty things; “the emotions run high” doesn’t quite describe it.
I’ll get dirty so you don’t have to ;)
Go to the website, join up, and create an “event” somewhere like a vacant lot. Pick a date that’s the same as a real event.
Wow. That is a lot of groups.
This shouldn’t even be an argument. I’ve gone over the Constitution and nowhere does it say that the gov’t is responsible to provide healthcare; these are powers NOT granted by the Constitution.
See lots of organization titles, but no names of those they are suppose to represent.

Gee. I wonder why they didn’t list “The American Communist Party.” I have no doubt they support this bill.
That reminds me of the passage in George Orwells 1984 when the citizens prepared banners and signs declaring their hatred for Eurasia (Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia).
As they were about to begin their government scheduled protest, the state announced that Oceania is actually at war with Eastasia (Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia), in fact Oceania has never been at war with Eurasia!
The people looked at their banners and signs; a sabeteur changed their signs to reflect Eurasia as the enemy when they KNEW BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT they made signs and banners condemning Eastasia!
This is what the "progressives" look like to me. That's just my perception on this subject, for what it's worth.
I've noticed that the supporters fall into two groups.
First, there are the power hungry despots who must control others.
The other group is made up of those who feel incapable of taking care of themselves; therefore, they want a government empowered to "take care of them." They are so eager to be "taken care of" that they refuse to see the dangers it entails.
The government with that kind of power owns you.
This one is SO easy...
We need to have our slogans, just like the Left. They really hate when we do that, as it is right out of their own playbook.

Of course, I haven’t been to any town halls yet. My blue dog is still hiding under the porch.
It's pure coincidence that many of them represent organized groups and unions. They are the authentic voice of the people!
Just ask them...
