He looked good on the surface. Oh well, I guess it is down to Ron Paul unless DeMint decides to run.
I understand. I was a fan of his after Katrina, but I’ve since figured out he’s a hyperpolitical rollover Republican who at first looks good because he outwardly plays to his conservative Southern state.
BTW, I’m strongly with Paul on 70% of his positions (I’ve got tiny government, libertarian leanings), so I understand his appeal.
If you are going to vote against lobbyists or lawyers based on their clients, you are unlikely to be voting for any lawyers or lobbyists. Not that that would necessarily be a bad thing!
