Resigning as US Attorney to take a NEWLY CREATED Federal Magistrate position, in the midst of a HUGE anti-corruption spree in Northeast PA. Something is not right here.
The corruption investigations of Mr. Carlson include the “Kids For Cash” judges, a recent conviction of a former local magistrate who worked for the sewer authority and embezzled $5000, but that was covered up by higher ups who let her pay off the money when it was found out she took it, charges of corruption in several local school districts, active FBI investigations at the local Community College and other school districts, investigations of previous county commissioners in Scranton; the list goes on.
I believe that someone was worried that they may become ensnared in one of these many investigations, pulled in some favors, and had him moved. With the Scranton ties, did someone in the Obama administration do this? One of PA’s US Senators or Reps? Someone at the state level with ties high up in the Obama administration?
