"Uh, so you can sell your cloak and buy Christs word? No, I dont think thats what hes talking about. I think hes saying SI DISEDERAT PACEM PREPARASCAT BELLUM." What represents Christs word?

Buy one of those.
Geez, why is it so hard for people to figure this parable out these days?
Christs sword, the symbol of his church is the CROSS! It represents the WORD (gospel) of christ!
Why would christ suddenly say, go buy a sword, when the entire parable is talking about spreading the gospel?

What represents Christs word? Holy Spirit thru studying the Holy Bible ???
we can disagree, but I cant follow the doctrine of submission to 'worldly' evil...IF thats what it really means, then i'll be judged and saved accordingly, but its either self defense, or total submission imo...
certainly The Lord can and will do as He pleases, and He spoke things in parables to encourage the study of His Word...He coulda taken the guess work out of it and stated plainly as in the original Law, or the certain revelations to the deciples, but then it wouldnt be faith huh for the rest of us ???
Thanks for your comments...

Glad to see you so sure of yourself.
I disagree.
Christianity is NOT a pacifist religion. I believe that Christians are obligated to defend the defensless.
Do you believe that the Old Testament is divinely inspired?
-Sorry, getting way off topic here-
