Totally disagree. Right now it’s not about the Left. They know where we stand. It’s about the 40-60 % of America who are up for grabs. Right now they’re not supporting health care, but they don’t want people walking the streets with weapons. Most Americans don’t live in places like Williams Arizona where a cowboy can walk into a diner for breakfast carrying his pistol on his hip. If we make this about “they’re the commies and we have the guns” our side loses.We have a chance to take back power in govt in a way the Constitution intended. We are not at that place yet, where the road leads only to Concord Bridge.
The truth is that most Americans are waking up and coming to our side as each new day comes.
Pandering to the "moderates" has been such a smashing success for the Republicans, we need to use that strategy in everything we do.
I mean, what would happen if the media found a reason not to like us? Why, they might, like, start slandering us and making up stuff to discredit us.
It's a much better Idea to stick with the proven winning strategy of sucking up to the mushy middle.
