I am surprised this came out of Conyers office, considering just a couple of days ago his wife was the target of a new investigation by the Michigan State Police started by the Detroit City Council.
She is being questioned for the disappearance of tens of thousands of dollars worth of electronics from her office after she was fired and plead guilty to taking kickbacks.
I kind of figured that they would want to keep the name Conyers out of the media light for a while.
