Sarah Palin said it..."death panels". The Washington intelligentsia laughed at how "stupid" and "over the top" she was.
Then Obama & Co. spent an ENTIRE WEEK on the defensive over "death panels" and it is still building in the public consciousness. The ENTIRE NATION is talking about "death panels". Can you recall a memorable sentence on health care from either Mitt or Huckabee in the past 6 months?
When will Republicans realize that this woman is the real deal?
And Obama’s most talked about byte from his campaign rally posing as a town hall meeting was to use the Post Office as an example of government efficiency in generating competition. Way to close the deal with the American people.
Do you mean the RNC?
They don’t want anyone real.
I believe that’s part of the reason we got stuck with McCain.
(open primaries too, but that might be a bit OT)
When will Republicans realize that this woman is the real deal?
Sarah, like Ronald Reagan, will have to do it all on her own. If she does want to run for President, she will have to take her message directly to the people, just like Reagan did. The GOP Elitists will NEVER support her. Even Saxby Chambliss, yeah the same guy she busted her ass for and helped him win by a 15 points, distanced himself today away from her comments saying “It’s a free country, she has every right to speak her mind” what kind of BS comment is that. Here is Sarah Palin, making the President of the United States, look like a damn fool and the GOP can’t come out and say “WOW this woman is the real deal, look what she is doing” the GOP are idiots, they are idiots plain and simple. Glad to see Michael Steele defend her but where are the rest of them. Just watch, if this bill dies, and it was all because of two little words DEATH PANEL, the GOP will want to take the credit for it, but we all know who will REALLY deserve the credit.
Speaking of Huckabee, I saw his special last week on Health Care, he mostly had on supporters of the bill, I was like “Are you serious Huck, are you for it or against it” the way he was talking, I wasn’t sure whose damn side he was on
