Perfect: Fake doctor at Dem’s town hall was invited by Che-loving Obama volunteer

I’m not sure what the connection’s supposed to prove — was Che into using people with fake credentials at rallies? — but no righty blogger can resist a recipe with ingredients like this. It’s the political equivalent of a “This Is Why You’re Fat” concoction. Che + Obama + health-care sockpuppet = crazy delicious!

Actually, what the connection proves (maybe) is that they’re connected at all:

Mayer yesterday told me that she was invited to the town hall meeting by a listserv message sent by Maria Isabel, who ran an Obama campaign office sporting a Che Guevara flag:

“Look, Maria Che-Guevara lady, or whatever, I saw her at about three events during the primaries, and she was a county delegate, too. I know she has been very involved with a lot of stuff with the campaign, but I did not get involved in the general election. I am on a listserve where she sent out a message about the town hall. I haven’t coordinated with her, didn’t even say that I was going. She’s a bit over the top, huh?”…

Harris County Democrats, thank you, thank you, for opening my eyes. I moved from New Jersey to Houston TX in September 1988. Right about the same time the Harris County Democrats voted Leslie Perez as party chairfreak. At that point I concluded that the Democratic Party was hopelessly reprobate.

The thing that bothers me most about this sort of thing is the utter lack of conscience these people seem to have. Its as if something in them has been stunted somewhere along the way.

These people spend their lives bashing “unethical” republicans but never bat an eye when they lie. If caught they simply lie some more.

You or I actually feel something if we lie like that but they really don’t have any issues with it. When I speak about how filthy the democrats are, I can’t help but acknowledge that many or even most republicans are far from angelic.

I agree with you. The lack of a moral conscious is scary. They seem to be able to stoop to any level to succeed at destroying America. I have ask several times, but have yet to get an answer that I understand: What is that libs want? What is their utopia? Why do they want to destroy America as we know/knew it?

What is their mindset? This link might answer your questions. They think they are the good guys:

Its a long read, but full of insight. I love the advice to the libs.

parsy, who thinks the author needs to ask himself what happens most of the time when societies actually go “anti-conservative”

This is one of the parts I love:

“According to the first type of argument, found for example in Burke, social institutions are a kind of capital. A properly ordered society will be blessed with large quantities of this capital. This capital has very particular properties. It is a sprawling tangle of social arrangements and patterns of thought, passed down through generations as part of the culture. It is generally tacit in nature and cannot be rationally analyzed. It is fragile and must be conserved, because a society that lacks it will collapse into anarchy and tyranny. Innovation is bad, therefore, and prejudice is good. Although the institutions can tolerate incremental reforms around the edges, systematic questioning is a threat to social order. In particular, rational thought is evil. Nothing can be worse for the conservative than rational thought, because people who think rationally might decide to try replacing inherited institutions with new ones, something that a conservative regards as impossible. This is where the word “conservative” comes from: the supposed importance of conserving established institutions.

This argument is not wholly false. Institutions are in fact sprawling tangles of social arrangements and patterns of thought, passed down through generations as part of the culture. And people who think they can reengineer the whole of human society overnight are generally mistaken. “

So.....IF the people who think they re-engineer the whole of human society overnite are generally mistaken....THEN, the people who think they can’t (Conservatives) are generally RIGHT.

parsy, who nonetheless thinks the author is at least trying to understand things

Interesting...I really enjoy SciFi and read everything Orson Scott Card writes. This sounds like the premiss for a book he would write...By the way, I believe OSC is a good conservative.

Sure. The person in question adore Che - you know the guy who had his office wall knocked down so he could watch the executions of people he had condemned? That Che.

Who murdered something like 100,000 Cubans. The sort of guy Dems would like to have you meet on their behalf or take up a similar government position to what Che held - for you benefit of course.
