AN NHS nurse quit her stressful £15,000-a-year job - to earn the same salary by walking dogs.

And Julie Odell chooses to work just ten hours a week compared to 40 in the hospital - so could rake in FOUR TIMES as much.

She gets around £30 an hour - compared to £7.50 at the NHS, which she left after "watching standards of care plummet".

Julie of Edinburgh, said: "I'm just part-time but I've heard of one man who charges £10 per dog per hour, takes six dogs on every walk and does three walks every weekday.

Smart woman, makes money, gets excercise, works her own hours, is self employed. That would be a good job in a big city, not so good in a rural area...I say Good on her..

LOL no, I would never suggest such a thing either...When I need a repair man or someone to take down a dead tree, I always wait until they are at my door to ask, What is the charge if I pay cash? Depends on weather they work for a company or are self employed....But if the gov’t is reading this, I am old and senile..I have a bad memory..I might have just lied, etc, etc, etc,..
