I don’t think I want to meet the people who put her into office and keep reelecting her. They all must be just as stupid as she is...too stupid to even be embarrassed.

I don’t think it’s about being stupid. I think it’s about supporting someone you think is going to get something for you. I remember comments made by a Clinton supporter during one of the myriad scandals that plagued his presidency. This woman commented “they’ll never catch him.. He’s too smart for them..” So it didn’t really matter to this woman whether he was guilty of something or not. It only mattered that she thought he was on her side.

Sometimes these congressional districts are gerrymandered for good reason. In central Indiana, they have channeled the Baraqqi types mostly into one district. So that district will consistently elect a nearly illiterate, nearly comatose extreme liberal Julia Carson (who died and was replaced my her grandson, a black Muslim).

But the three surrounding districts are much safer for a consistent conservative winner. (Pence, Burton, and Buyer).

Not sure if Texas has done similar. Maybe someone can chime in.
