Massa has one of New York's famously gerrymandered districts which was once solidly rural and Republican but which was rejiggered to include Rochester's southernmost, upscale liberal suburbs.

And to make matters worse, the other end of the district (Chautauqua County) was cut out and combined with liberal Buffalo. Guess whose voters win that race?
