Of course, in point 2 they claim the public option will absolutely not be paid for through subsidies, then in point 12 they get around to talking about the tax increases. What would be the point of tax increases if nothing is being subsidized? And then we get around to the contention that making the system even more complicated than it is now will somehow decrease the prevalence of fraud and abuse - what planet are these people living on?
