This decade has been good for associate vice chancellors at UNC-Chapel Hill. Their numbers have nearly doubled, from 10 to 19, and the money paid to them has more than tripled, to a total of nearly $4million a year.

The university now admits that some of these people were in jobs that were not vital. They represent the rapid management growth in the 16-campus UNC system that has added tens of millions of dollars to annual payrolls.

The University system in North Carolina is run by Democratic Party castoffs - headed by Erskine Bowles. They are corrupt beyond belief. Education of the children of citizens is the last of their priorities.

90 percent of stolen taxpayers so called stimulus money will be used on growing government of the leftwing communist democrat party and only liberal causes will receive the free stolen moneies.
And the weak minded who can not see will lose everything as time goes on.

When I would travel to 3rd world countries, I was always amazed at the corruption there and said that is the main difference between them and us.

That difference no longer exists.

Not only that, this story is just the tip of the iceberg where the NC Dim controlled legislature and Guv Bev 'had' to raise our taxes.

A prime example of how the bloated system keeps raising the cost of education in the public sector.

This is a big reason why the cost of higher education is going up. At my school, the Deans (who were never that overworked), now have associate deans. And don’t get me started on the Diversity mafia. And these people make big salaries—about 2X what an assistant professor does (to start).

We just got one of the UNC-CH chancellors at KU as our new chancellor. She’s black, so she filled two of the requisite boxes for hire.
