Hey you get it. They are now known as safety officers. We have them where I work. Soon they will become diversity and political police and report directly to the various CZARS...If a crane does not accidently drop something on them.

...and the Chinese took that to the next level, with 10 bureaucrats for each productive worker at a business/factory/plant. and at least half of those bureaucrats were 'Party members'. Amazingly, some elder workers still remained in the 80s who were educated in the USA in the 40s (before the commies). These were the proverbial 'go to' knowledgeables ...the one good thing about China is they still respect the 'elders'...in any situation. Nothing like the USA! 'Course they didn't have to deal with much 'diversity' since they're 90% Han.
