I live in Massa's district.

We voted out the Pubbie who was in there before him for voting for TARP after voting against it.

We'll toss Massa, too. Massa only won by a couple of percentage points, and a lot of the votes for him were really votes against Kuhl.

Problem for voters is that Upstate's probably gonna lose two house seats after the next census. Three guesses which two districts are going to be gerrymandered out of existence?

FWIW, my bet is that Massa's either been promised something for his vote to compensate him for the loss of his seat if he's voted out, or Massa's figgering that he has to suddenly start veering to the hard left in order to compete in a newly gerrymandered district.

In any case, most of the voters in the district he's got now are screwed.

Gerrymandering. More proof of why Upstate needs its own state.
