I recommend the film "The Dancer Upstairs", directed by John Malkovich and starring Javier Bardem. It's a slightly fictionalized account of the capture of Guzman in an unnamed Latin American country where the natives happen to be speaking Quechua.

I agree. It is an excellent film that captures in part the connection between the intelligentsia and the bestial. The strangest parts of the movie are the most true.

The only thing is that it falls way short of the reality.

But it is a very good movie.
