“Yep, Never mess with the oldsters.”
I’m not exactly a kid. I’m AARP eligible, but wouldn’t send a penny to that bunch of commies.

The head of AARP is a friend of zero, and contributed many thousands of dollars to his campaign.
Reason enough not to belong to AARP.

More please. Faster.
I always advise oldsters to cancel their membership in AARP. They are actively working against their best interests.

No conservative should be a member of AARP anyway. It’s not like they’ve suddenly became liberal because they support the health plan. They were liberals even 10 or 15 years ago when I first heard of ‘em. I believe they’ve always been anti second amendment.

That is good stuff. Funny graphic.
To: pillut48
Just recently I saw an add by AARP which showed an ambulance being blocked by cars as it is going to a hospital. They then had the gall to say that the cars were people who wanted to stop Obamacare. Even if I was only minimally aware, that add would cause me to tear up my AARP card.
What it should of shown was a senior who needed a hip replacement being blocked by Obamacare. Stupid nits. blech.

They also have 35 million total members, 400,000 new members in the past month and 1.5 million membership renewals in the past month....
To: MichaelP
The article names The American Seniors Association, as the conservative alternative and it’s gaining 60,000 members a month who are quitting the AARP.

I’m not sure there is one really. My Father was pretty conservative back in the day. However, in his last few years, he was convinced that Bush wanted to take away his social security. He had become a one issue voter.

In my view, the AARP is worse than Al quida.
They hold politicians hostage when it comes to reforming entitlements.
At least you can shoot Al Quida

You know, this isn’t the first time the Liberal leeches in charge at AARP have used their members money to bankroll and run ads for Lib Pig agenda causes. I seem to remember a rather big one from some five or six years back...can’t quite remember but I remember it got several m,embers steamed about it..and of course AARP didn’t give a damn.

It’s not that he is a single issue voter so much as he is under the mistaken belief that the alphabet news is a reliable source of information.
My mother is pretty much the same way. She still thinks Bush (either one, they are pretty much interchangeable in her mind) is (are?) the source of all evil. She is convinced that the Republicans will take her SS away and throw her in the streets. If CBSNBCABCCNNMSNBCCPUSA news says it, she believes it.
She can’t understand why Dan Rather ‘retired’, either.

When ever I get mail from AARP I rip it up and put it in the postage payed return envelope. It’s fun costing those bastards going and coming. One of these days I’m taping it to a brick and mailing it back.
