Two North Korean diplomats are in Santa Fe and will meet with Gov. Bill Richardson on Wednesday. A spokesman for Richardson said a delegation from the North Korean mission to the United Nations will meet at the governor's mansion for a daylong meeting but the topic was not disclosed.
The North Koreans had requested the visit, but the governor's office said Richardson will not be negotiating nor will he be representing the Obama administration.
The delegation, which includes Minister Myong Gil Kim and Councilor Jong Ho Paek, also are scheduled to receive briefings on renewable energy initiatives in New Mexico on Thursday.

What a joke. The state has a huge budget deficit and this idiot is entertaining a bunch of communists. They’ll probably mock 0’s attempt at socialist medicine. I do wonder if they’ll ask them red or green chili, or assume red.
To: Jet Jaguar
Well isn't this just special. Richardson sure has a bond with these commies. Now what is in NM that Richardson can offer these people.... Any job openings at any government run labs?

What? Did China put U.S. up to this? China exerted pressure on N. Korea to free American and S. Korean hostages. Now they are leaning on S. Korea and U.S. to join the circus of warm-and-fuzzy talk?
Contrary to the opinions of other observers, I suspect the price U.S. or S. Korea paid in return for securing the release of their respective hostages detained by NK is to China, not N. Korea.

LOL! Since they are going to be briefed on “renewable energy”, I’d assume they are both red and green.

I like Richardson. He was the first public official to acknowledge that Obama is an immigrant.

The NORKs rescinded the Armistice of 1953 recently with the UN, and the ‘UN police action’ is on again, No firing has started however between the parties. The UN is in the drivers’ seat with NORK still, with the US a major factor for the UN, and, Richardson must be representing New Mexico efforts at accommodating a UN/NORK issue with experience as a FORMER US Amb. to the UN. It is nevertheless extraordinarily unsettling with the NORKS threatening war and destruction on SKOR and the US almost every day.
With NORK, a buffer state and client of China, the matter, whatever it is, may be assumed by most of us to not be in the interest of the US. Who knows?

Gee, maybe he could give them a nice 'lil tour of Los Alamos and the nukes, before they go back to wherever they came from.
Ooops, forgot. I am sure they have already been up there in one way or another.

I hope they eat both N.M. red and green chili, and get a bad case of flatulence that lasts them all the way back to Pyongyang.

?? When they’re done with Bill, perhaps they could meet with the Michigan Mole, Governor Grantheft. She might like to house some of their political prisoners.

I betcha the NORKs are visiting King Bill to try and collect on some grandiose promises he made to them when he thought he was gonna be in Zero's cabinet!
NM is already scratching to try and meet the budget...Bill will likely divert even more scarce funds to his buddies.
