The outgoing leader of Greenpeace has admitted his organization’s recent claim that the Arctic Ice will disappear by 2030 was “a mistake.” Greenpeace made the claim in a July 15 press release entitled “Urgent Action Needed As Arctic Ice Melts,” which said there will be an ice-free Arctic by 2030 because of global warming.
Under close questioning by BBC reporter Stephen Sackur on the “Hardtalk” program, Gerd Leipold, the retiring leader of Greenpeace, said the claim was wrong.

Worse than dumb: knowingly false.
Personally, my solution to this is to issue every member of Greenpeas with a suicide kit. Thus we will raise the average IQ very slightly, properly harness the lemming factor and grant the rest of us a reduction of the noise generated by these publicity hounds.

The guys on Deadliest Catch in the wrap up show said this year’s opilio crab season in January was the coldest and most ice filled in twenty years.
According to Greenfleece, lying is OK because the organization is, after all, RIGHT and needs to make people believe that. Evidently the former head is going to become some sort of Hussein czar!

This is SOP for so many of the left’s claims that none of them are to be believed. The end justifies the means.

Haning lied about the potential damage, he confirmed that "suppression of economic growth" ramains their goal.
