In her book, she makes mention of having shown up to a Senate wives event in dungarees because the invitation said ‘a working lunch’. I’m a non-native speaker. If I know what a working lunch is, so should everybody, especially her. I haven’t read the book, it goes without saying, but on the Amazon reviews, one person rhapsodizes about her humility. It’s all a photo-op for this woman. She and he are a perfectly suited pair.

If this is true; what a pack of lowlifes that Edwards and his mistress are. Unfortunately, this seems to be a continuing theme today from the WH on down. It’s all about me and I don’t care who I hurt.
The mistress is just as bad. What a horrible creature when she knows his wife is so ill. Guess she doesn’t want anyone else to get their mitts on him. He is probably doing it so she won’t sue the hell out of him.
She certainly could be dying of cancer even though death does not seem imminent.
In my very limited personal experience, it can take awhile for people to die of cancer. And people can keep up a lot of their normal routine in between treatments and crises. My sister-in-law with ovarian cancer was given between 2 and 4 years to live, and she lasted about 3 years. In the meantime, she traveled, did her usual chores, social life, etc., despite fatigue and occasional crises.
My friend was told that the cancer which has come back in the same place on her neck 5 times is never going to be cured. She is essentially marking time, beating it back every time it flares up, until one time it will get ahead of her and she will die of it, or a related problem. She may be looking after her grandson, traveling, keeping up with her family, but she is dying. It’s just going to take her a number of years [hopefully].
I will give Elizabeth the benefit of the doubt that she is not lying about the gravity of her illness.
Its pretty difficult, I imagine, to come to terms with the fact that what you thought you had ( a committed husband and marriage) is actually a big, fat lie. It might have been obvious from the outside, but love really is blind sometimes.
It takes time, probably a different amount for each woman. I do have sympathy for her.
But he is 100% skank !
Phychologists say some weak men can’t handle a spouse’s illness and run to find a replacement at the first sign of losing their wife’s support. Sort of similar to a guy dumping his wife for a younger woman to give himself a feeling of youth - but far worse since he’s abandoning his partner at the time of greatest need.
Bastard.
Maybe one of Bubba Clinton's hoes got some room in her FEMA trailer for Edwards' hoe.
