No, it wouldn't be sealed.
Most likely, the Judge heard oral argument on the motion but hasn't issued his decision yet. Some judges take weeks, or even months, to issue a written decision after a motion hearing.
Thanks for the reply. The Docket says this would be decided on the papers, no attorneys required. Would you be able to say how long a Judge could take to make a decision and write it up, in a case of this urgency and magnitude?
If the case was ruled out because of lack of standing (the usual), then why would it take so long. If that were the case the Judge wouldn’t consider anything else. Just the standing. And in previous cases where the Judge said lack of standing the decision was made on the same day.
Is this an indication the Case got past the “Standing” threshold?
