Re: “The country’s institutions are so corrupt, it make take a full blown revolution to get the country back.”

Geez, blam, my response to your earlier post talked about my suspicion that we will need nothing less than a revolution and now I read this post from you positing exactly the same thing. I wonder how many more ordinary everyday citizens are thinking the same thing?

I don’t know, but whatever we do, it has to all be over in one weekend, because we all have to be back at work on Monday. Unless we’re unemployed. But in that case, I don’t know about this “revolution” thing, it wouldn’t look good on a resume at all.

Maybe we could just like... all vote next time. And like... take all our apathetic friends and like... drag them out to vote with us. I know, we could offer them like... a case of their favorite beer if they voted for the decent person.

I bet we have way more couch potatoes than they have ineligible voters, as long as we can hold them down to voting only like 4 or 5 times each.

Maybe the whole resume thing is why the original Tea-Party dudes all dressed up like... er... uh... native americans...

(sorry about the goofy kookyfornia accent, it’s late and I’m just poking fun at everything)

Great.

I've been busy preparing for the revolution, I suggest everyone get ready.

There are no alternatives...the Republicans aren't much better.

My congressman, Jo Bonner, just got back from a two week around the world vacation with five other Republicans and their families...ALL PAID FOR BY YOU!!!

See here.

"For instance, there will be no flak jackets required for Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) when he leads a large congressional delegation on an around-the-world trip to Ireland, Switzerland, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China, and Canada. And the trip looks to be more spouse-friendly: All of the seven House members on the Boehner-led trip -- Dan Boren (D-OK), Jo Bonner (R-AL), Dave Camp (R-MI), Tom Latham (R-LA), and Greg Walden (R-OR) -- say they are bringing their spouses (at "no cost to the DoD," the CODEL itinerary states).
