Frank has simply got to be the poster boy for what's wrong with Congress. There is absolutely nothing endearing about this guy, IMHO. He is in it for personal gain and nothing less. Anything he does that helps someone else is nothing but serendipity for those who happen to benefit from his never ending quest for personal gain.

And while I'm on this rant, I'm really tired of all the conservative talk show hosts I listen to giving these people, like Frank, Pelosi, Reid, Gibbs, etc. so much airtime. I go from one show to another all day and night. If I'm awake I've probably got the radio on. This means I get a constant, uninterrupted flow of these hateful people. I understand the hosts feel they have to present what's hot in the news, but after a day or two of hearing these miscreants over and over and over I'm worn out. If I wanted to hear these people, even once, I would tune in liberal radio or watch the MSN news and CNN and MSNBC. There are lots of places to hear these people and I make it a point to avoid every single one of them like the plague, but then I turn on conservative radio to get some encouragement and THERE THEY ARE, every program, every hour, the same stupid comments or sound bytes!

I want to know what these people are saying, but I'm quite content to hear it voiced in quotes by the host. Spare me the sound of those voices that grate on my being like fingernails on a chalkboard. OTOH, let me hear SarahCuda and Ollie North and John Bolton. They are music to my ears, a balm for my troubled soul.

Rush and the others go on and on about how precious their broadcast time is, and I quite agree. And since it's so precious, let's not be wasting it by playing these piss poor imitators of real, caring, warm people who have a heart for their fellow man!

OK, I'm getting off the soapbox now. The next person is welcome to climb up on there and rant their head off!

Well, you're a hard act to follow ;-)

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I think we have the same problem:

We can't stand the sight of these creeps! Obama, Frank, Pelosi, Reid, Kerry, Kennedy, ... make me want to lose my breakfast. I'd rather watch old videos of Jeffery Dahmer preparing dinner.

My solution is I watch Fox & Friends for 1 hour, then read the rest of the news & get the detail off the Net. FR is a great place for that. Reading gives more detail, no commercials, & few pictures.

After F&F, I watch Sunrise Earth on HDT to free my mind of unpleasant images. It's Everglades gators this AM, so for some reason I can still picture a leathery Barney Frank sliding down the mud bank.

But those people aren't trying to rule our lives.

We NEED to hear what Reid, Pelosi, Frank and the other dems are saying. At least Rush speeds up their voices and makes them sound like chipmunks :)
