I’m starting to think jeanguy04 has a VERY light understanding of scripture (not that mine is great, but c’mon, his takes are ridiculous). That, or he is INTENTIONALLY taking things out of context. I've been seeing that a lot on conservative or libertarian boards. Although I know lots of born again Christians who don't know their bibles as well as they should, I keep running into people who seem like they're either misremembering sunday school from a few years ago or who are just quickly paging through their bibles in search of pithy talking points. Either way they need to be set right whenever they post inaccuracies so that others don't fall into the same misunderstanding / misquoting / mischaracterizing of scripture.
