But, but, but... Osama promises no long lines.

That's because there are no lines. That is the old fashion way. Now, you get a number and you go and sit in a room full of chairs with a big screen that you watch until your number comes up.

Canada has way too few physicians because no one wants to practice there

This will be what eventually happens here in the US if obammacare passes. God forbid!

The waiting lines form and the govt starts hiring physicians from outside the US. Remember those terrorist physicians in the UK?

During my annual checkup my physician commented on the health care debate. He stated he had been seeing patients since 7:00 am and would end his day after 6:00 pm that day. He further stated that under national health care if he goes on a salary he will start his day at 9:00, put in his 8 hours, and walk out the door at 5:00 pm. He will have no incentive to see more patients.

National health insurance will result in a huge capacity issue. Not only will millions of new patients be added to the system. The care providers will have no incentive to work overtime. This could result in a reduction in the number of patient contact hours available by 20-25%. No matter what Obama and the single payer supporters say, health care will have to be rationed quickly. This will happen if no doctors quit practicing.
