That's a good story but the issue isn't an indigenous resistance force versus an invading army. Would you have the will to blow the brains out of some 19 year old kid from Iowa to get his rifle?

That is the essence of this discussion and the point of my initial post on the matter. One should not be quick to glibly allude to the mismatch between the left and the right in a future armed struggle. The opposition will not be San Francisco drag queens in full dress but quite likely elements of the most powerful fighting force in the history of man.
