I disagree that such a poll even exists. Don’t forget, that statement, “I saw a poll that showed 80% of the American people favored Govcare,” is coming from Howard Dean

Whichever side is in power will discover that opposition can form even when the media ignore an issue.
The enemy had better work faster if it wants to censor us. Fox news just beat the CBS evening news in the ratings.

Fears of angry town hallers were fanned by MSNBC hosts like Rachel Maddow...The Madcow only imparted fear to her 13 or so remaining viewers, not a big deal.

Fox news just beat the CBS evening news in the ratings. And since you have to have cable to get Fox News, they are starting with a smaller potential market.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know how many Americans are without cable?

"A poll's results depend on where it's taken."
All of commiebama/democrat polls are taken during the day, when the people who pay the bills for socialism are at work...otherwise it would look very different.

Um, when a hyperventilating hyperpartisan says of the mere prospect that a ruling party might lose 20 seats in a by-election, that it is "the world turned upside down", you know that politics has driven that person stark, raving mad.
WW II turned the world upside down. The french revolutionary wars, spanning a generation, turned the world upside down. The thirty years war, the reformation, turned the world upside down. Democrats losing 20 seats in a by-election, if they do, is not that.
It is the sun coming up in the morning. Get a freaking grip, people.

People are really sick of the shenanigans in local politics, too, where it's right in your face but you can't do anything about it. The special interests are too entrenched and they have the media on their side. A feeling of impotency abounds. For instance, when one group of economic interests bands together to build a new (fill in the blank - park, school, public pool, etc. Taxes go up but the local boards always find enough votes to ram these new projects through.)

Since the person being discussed IS a Democrat, reluctantly, I must call the Redundancy Patrol.
