I couldn’t find that picture at the link you provided.

What rally was it taken at?

It looks the guy carrying is on the conservative side, not the liberal side.

Quit fear-mongering.

It’s so unbecoming of a Freeper.

It was at the Recess Rally outside Harry Mitchell’s office. His side had the guns, and he was still too chicken to show up. The guy with the gun was also too chicken to give his full name.

Yeah, I know it’s a MSDNC link, but I was there and saw the guy so I know they aren’t making this up. Another eye witness on the AZ Tea Party site:

Oh I see

The link went to pictures of a rally with David Schweikert—Congress 2010.

I don't think you are making anything up, but I was wondering why the guy with the sidearm is standing with a guy with a sign against Obama’s DeathCare.

Plus in that picture, he is not holding a sign.

The lady with the straw hat is on our side, has a sign about no rationing.

The lady pointing her finger looks like a supporter of Socialist health care.

The article at MSNBC interviews a guy named Josh who says he is a democrat, and the interview says he is packing.

Thanks for the reports, it is clear that there was at least one democrat Socialist Health care supporter there that was armed

Thanks for the help with the links, I appreciate it.

There are multiple pages of pics; you have to scroll to another page to see the pic in question. Schweikert showed up at the rally because Harry Mitchell was too chicken to be at his own office. That’s who he is running against in 2010.

He is not holding a sign in the pic, but it is on the ground next to him propped up against his leg. You can only see the back of it. He is wearing a Yankees shirt so he is definitely the Josh (if that’s even his real name) that the article mentions.

The lady pointing her finger has a sign that reads: “Get rid of the notion that health care is the affair of each individual - Adolf Hitler When Congress and Hitler agree the people should worry”. She was a little overboard (I personally think the comparisons to Hitler are a little much, but if the left could do it to W...), but at least she was on the right side.

He was not the only Obot there, but he’s the one that made the paper because he was the only one with a gun.

Thanks for all the information!

I'm a stickler for details..

The “Josh” guy wants health care for all

Little does he know what will happen to “health care for all” if Obama/Reid/Pelosi/Soros/SEIU/ACORN/Etc get their hands on our “care”

Probably doesn’t care as long as he’s still cashing their paychecks...

I didn't mean to scare you hyperconservative2005...maybe you should change your handle to "hypersensitive" instead.

Had you been around back then I'll bet you would have called Paul Revere a "fear monger" for yelling "the British are coming.".

I'll try to figure out a system in the future to warn you about reading my posts...after all I wouldn't want to frighten you.

An "unbecoming Freeper", FrankR, since 1998.

I fear no one, dude.
I have noticed far too many instances on FR of people hanging the threat of impending martial law over the heads of righteously indignant citizens.
Why?
To psyche us out, perhaps? (Half the battle is psychological).
To cause citizens to wring our hands and fret like peasants?
Martial law is not likely to occur, anytime soon.
Perhaps you’d be happier at Prisonplanet.com with disinformation specialist Alex Jones.
Also, I’m sure pulling seniority works super in a stinking labor union but I don’t think it works on FR.
Nice try, though.
Thanks for playing.

And furthermore, Frankie of 1998, martial law would accomplish nothing for the ruling two parties. They already run the entire frickin’ government—local, county, state and federal. They are the only ones on the courts, almost the only ones in elected offices.Ds and Rs. No one else.
What would they gain by declaring martial law?
The wrath of citizens, from sea to shining sea;
from morning to night—and night to morning.
24/7 wrath.
And that will be the end of the Democrat and Republican parties.
And that’s why they won’t do it. They would rather overburden us with unconstitutional and idiotic rules and regulations(i.e., infringements on liberty). They would rather piss us off incrementally, as they’ve done for more than 100 years.
Have a nice day.

"I have noticed far too many instances on FR of people hanging the threat of impending martial law over the heads of righteously indignant citizens. "

Obviously, you don't know observation/opinion from a "threat". Given that, you probably don't know that FR is a board of opinions and observations, among other things.

You obviously think it is a forum for you to come on to and insult anyone who doesn't agree with you.

Have a nice day hyper, I mean, ultraconservative.

game over.

You don’t know what I know.
You assume and you assume.
I, too was here in the early years.
You assume I just got here in ‘05.
I encourage anyone to make a note of the timing of martial law “observations”/warnings here on FR.
Do martial law “observations” occur in a predictable fashion?
Go check for yourself.
If you know how.
