The Justice Dept.'s War On Heroes

National Security: Appointing a prosecutor to harass CIA interrogators exposes this administration's priorities: The global war on terror takes a back seat to terrorizing some of America's most selfless warriors.

f you look closely, you can see insidious attempts to weaken Americans' post-9/11 resolve to win against Islamist terrorism, no matter what it cost or how long it took.

Pentagon staff members were informed a mere two months after President Obama's inauguration, for instance, that we were no longer engaged in a "global war on terror"; what America was now waging was an "overseas contingency operation."

Then in April, as the American Spectator's Matthew Vadum pointed out Monday, the president signed a law re-jiggering 9/11 into a "National Day of Service" that will demean the Pearl Harbor Day of the 21st century "into a celebration of ethanol, carbon emission controls, and radical community organizing."

This conditioning us out of the war-on-terror mentality seems to be bipartisan. Former Bush administration Homeland Security Secretary and Republican Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge, in a forthcoming book, claims that former Attorney General John Ashcroft and former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld pressured him to raise the national terror threat level preceding the 2004 elections.

It's hard enough to swallow that Ridge, a Bronze Star recipient and Vietnam vet with a well-cultivated reputation for toughness, would clam up for five years about a concerted attempt to manipulate him. But it becomes impossible to accept considering Ridge's interview with Pittsburgh's KDKA-TV just a year ago.

Pretty stupid distraction attempt by the 0 regime.

Go ahead, remind all those middle of the road voters who thought they were voting for a “new kind of Democrat” that the Democrat machine is NOT interested in defending them.

This is the kind of story that makes every blue collar guy in this country say “WTF are those clowns drinking?”

The 0 machine has decided “hey since our poll numbers are dropping like a rock, let us distract the public by doing the same thing every stereotypical big govt goof does that every single action movie, and tv show, has mocked for the last 30 years. Let’s go after the hero and play nice with the thugs”

Obama will not distract us from the Health Care issue.

If he continues his warfare against a just and righteous America, in oder to weaken our nation, he himsellf will find an ignominious end.

The spirit of patriots is alive and well, and are the forces of light. We are preparing to defeat the Obama forces of darkness, of tyranny, of rule fromm the darkness out of public sight.

Oh yes, the days of Obama tyranny will not be long, for already his days are numbered until evidence is found that he is not qualified to occupy the office which he so erroneously and tragically assumed. This the tyrant knows, and that knowledge makes him cringe and bristle behind a sheild of petty elitism and arrogance.

I know if I were a CIA agent, I would have a real difficult time focusing on doing my primary job for a while. I would probably be sidetracked by doing a little digging into the background of all the hacks that are running this administration. And if I were really pissed-off, I might go so far as to fabricate some damning material and slip it to some enterprising young reporter (if they still exist) to make my point. This could get real interesting.

Hussein used his discretionary powers twice today. Once to investigate American’s who sacrificed to protect this country and once to free a terrorist who tried to kill two Americans.

Why exactly would one conclude from that evidence that Obama is on the side of the United States of America?

Of course - to the Marxists now in power in this country, American heroes ARE the enemy and must be destroyed at any cost.

Oh, dear God, deliver us from these traitors!
