After hearing about the Carr Brothers trial in Wichita (through FR, and not the regular press), along with several other similar stories in recent years, I'd have to agree.
If you had anything, you’d be explaining to me why this incident of which you speak should be classified as a “hate crime”. Instead, you have to make the entire discussion into a penis-measuring contest, as is evidenced by this last post. I don’t need anything with you. This discussion is over. Run along and see if you can get a life.

As I said in another thread, the presence of white people in this neighborhood was so rare, that some people commented that the only reason the victims would have been there was to score drugs (as if that somehow justifies the horror they suffered).
Were this a "random crime," it would have, indeed, been perpetrated against a black couple.
It was not. Rather, the predators let thousands and thousands of black potential victims pass by, until a white couple had the misfortune to stumble across their path.
As I also said, I do not support hate crime statutes, but to strip this case of its obvious racial dimension is obscene.

Why not a hate crime? If you call a gay person a “name” it is recorded at the FBI as a hate crime “assault”, if it’s reported.
Rape, torture, murder don’t count?

I have started a “BOOKMARK” folder entitled “HATE CRIMES” (with my definition not the Media's) with appropriate sub folders: Legal and Other.
“Enforced”? You’re talking about the MSM’s characterization of a crime. There are statutes on the books somewhere that dictate when the MSM does and doesn’t go into feeding frenzy mode? I could see the MSM passing this one by for a very simple reason, though. The only evidence you have of racial bias comes from the fact of the difference in races. You have nothing else, other than that the perps were sick animals, and that simply doesn’t compute. If the perpetrators, for example, said in front of witnesses, “Let’s go do those white folks,” or later bragged “Those are some white devils who won’t ever own another slave,” I’d see your point. But there’s no there there, and for a change I agree with the MSM.
Don’t go away mad. There have been several articles and threads on this topic before. Most of us already knew the races involved. Blame the newspaper — they are the ones who published the article posted and who seem to be afraid to mention race.
After all, Tennessee was the original home of both Sam Houston and Davy Crockett. They just might have taken justice in their own hands, had this crime happened in the 1800s. And their descendents might try to do the same, if they get too excited. The newspaper may not want to rile the natives.

Perhaps they thought that they’d have money because they were white, and got really pissed when they didn’t and ended up going mideival on them in their disappointment (Were they addicts? Were they craving drugs when they broke in? That’s highly material). But I seriously doubt that they never lifted a hand against a black person. Look at their rap sheet. I’m sure they have one.

I’m not stripping it of its racial dimension, but to suggest that race is the sole factor involved simply because it’s a factor and was involved to some unknown degree is simplistic, and I don’t buy it. I don’t support hate crime statutes or media designation of hate crimes as such. Therefore I’m not going to complain about their failure to do that in this case. I only wish they failed to do that all the time.

It could’ve been described as torture, except that description only applies to terrorists who gain 20 pounds while detained in comfortable facilities with free medical and dental care.

If it had been White on black it would have been in the headline of every major msm 24/7 since it happened.
Yep. There also would haqve been marches and t-shirts and specials on TV. The theme is” black lives are more important than white lives. I fear for the future my young white relatives will live in. It will only get worse. MUCH worse.
