When my husband was in the Navy he hurt his knee and had to get surgery. They opened up the wrong knee.

When I had our second son at Tripler Army hospital in Hawaii, hours after delivering my baby, we new mothers were given sheets and a dust mop and were told we had to clean our own rooms. I left the hospital asap. My husband took better care of me than they did.

Unreal. There are so many stories like that, plus the recent one where the Air Force airman had his legs amputated after the botched gall bladder surgery. Unfortunately, that will become more common under a government run health plan.

My mom tells the same story about the Navy Hospital in the Phillipines when my brother was born in 1958. Looks like the have been doing that sort of thing for a Long, long time now.
