Washington, DC -- Ted Kennedy, the iconic Massachusetts senator, died late Tuesday night at home in Hyannis Port after a long battle with cancer. Elected first in 1962, the 77-year-old liberal lion reminds many political observers of the changes on abortion among many members of the Democratic Party.

Believe it or not, Kennedy was a pro-lifer.
I bet, right now, he’s very pro-life.

The culture of death is part and parcel with today’s Democratic party. Either you support the slaughter or find another line of work outside of public office.
There is no forgiveness for the sins of Teddy Boy, he will burn in hell!
One of my favorite Kennedy “accomplishments” was getting the Catholic Church to declare his marriage to Joan “annulled” after 20 or 30 years of marriage and 19 children.
Ted who....? Oh, yes.....the fat drunken murderer who the idiots in Mass. kept electing to the senate for decades......yeah I remember now.
Are you sure about that?
Kennedy was also a traitor. He opened back-door channels to the Soviets (Andropov) in the early 80’s, trying to team-up with them to undermine Ronald Reagan’s policies.
Only a Kennedy could get away with such a crime.
“Ted Kennedy’s Passing” and “highlights” go together in my book.
Other prominent pro-life Democrats who eventually abandoned the courage of their convictions include former president Bill Clinton, current Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin, civil rights activist Jesse Jackson, and "common ground" congressman Tim Ryan."
Al Gore was also pro-life, well into the mid-1980s when the Dem party was already past the point of no return.
This was about the same time that his wife, Tipper Gore, was going on record as opposed to rap music lyrics.
Yes, believe it or not, AlGore was once a conservative Democrat from Tennessee.
Why would any man want to be known as a lion?
Of course the eagle is also a bird of prey and scavenging;odd the animals people choose to represent their "ideals".
But I'd say many in government are more like hyenas, another vicious, but cowardly predator that runs in packs.
Gore’s conversion to the dark side of abortion was around 1988, if I recall correctly. That year was a turning point in many politicians’ lives, when the decision was made tro endorse the right to abortion as a means of political promotion.
And Algore was not the only politician to do so.
Tipper went ballistic on song lyrics about 1985.
