Arizona Sen. John McCain called Massachusetts Sen. Edward M. Kennedy "the last lion of the Senate" Wednesday as he remembered the liberal Democrat who was on the opposite side from McCain on most issues.
"He was a formidable opponent, valuable ally and a dear friend," McCain said of the Massachusetts Democrat who died Tuesday night of brain cancer at age 77.

A “forminable opponent”??? McQueeg agreed with every liberal/socialist bill Kennedy came up with that I remember.
I remember Kennedy speaking at the 1980 RAT convention ... big headline next day in the WaPo that Kennedy “electrifies convention.”
Anyway one of his big applause lines was that the RATS had only a few months to convince the public that “Ronald Wilson Reagan is not Franklin Delano Roosevelt.”

McCain and the other RINOs will sorely miss Ted Kennedy. It will be much more difficult for RINOs to sell out American freedoms and promote socialism without having the excuse of the Almighty Kennedy forcing them to do it. McCain pretend that Kennedy was an “opponent”. The fact is that they were partners.
Kennedy was a Hyena of the Senate and not the only one either, just the worst.
