Very few Americans realize there exists a large network of far left philanthropists and foundations in America dedicated to destroying the American way of life, our Christian-based culture and our free enterprise system. They seek to remove America from its constitutional foundations and move it toward a European-style socialism. Much of this effort is coordinated by a little known group called the Tides Foundation and its related group, the Tides Center.

The Strategic Principles of the Tides Foundation Over the course of its 33 year history, the Tides network has given hundreds of millions of dollars to anti-free enterprise groups, gun control groups, anti-private property groups, abortion rights groups, homosexual groups, groups engaged in voter fraud, anti-military groups, and organizations that seek to destroy America’s constitutional basis. All told, over 100 leftist organizations have received funding from one of the two Tides groups.

Not surprisingly, this network of anti-American groups played a key role in electing Barack Obama by using classic propaganda techniques in making false allegations about Bush (he lied regarding WMDs, he stole the election in Florida, he knew in advance about 9/11, etc, etc.) and created the impression that Bush and by extension, the GOP, was corrupt. Obama, of course, was portrayed as the reformer who would save America from this corruption.

Millions of Americans fell for this mythology and so without being openly partisan, this vast network of far left groups, along with its media allies, was able to manipulate American public opinion during the last election cycle. Meanwhile, anyone who tried to reveal Obama’s real agenda, his role in the corrupt Chicago political machine, his socialist political associations, or his soft spot for Middle Eastern terrorists was labeled a kook by this same network.

No kidding. For just one example, we have Van Jones, communist/anarchist agitator funneling money to his group under the guise of green jobs.

As SJB insightfully posted earlier: Soros' investment company put $811 million into a Brazilian state-controlled oil company. Now Obama is giving $2 billion tax dollars to Brazil for "oil exploration"........... Soros' company gets most of that $2 billion.

Looks to me like: Kickbacks. Money laundering. Wire-transfers to numbered bank accounts. Soros has thousands of "organizations" spotted around the globe. It would be vey easy to sock foreign aid billions in one of them, then wire-transfer the funds into "someone's" private account. No wonder the Bozo is walking around with that stupid grin.

Now I say: Keep an eye out in those states and districts of legislators pushing ObamaCare...... for announcements of billions in stimulus, or other federal monies.

These might be payoffs-----kickbacks for ramming ObamaCare down our throats.

Oh, no. I come back here after all these months and the first thing I learn is that I can’t buy an American car anymore! FORD is funding TIDES? I wasn’t going to buy that fantastic new Camaro because I don’t want to finance Government Motors, I’m pissed at Chrysler for caving in, and now this? Who’d have thunk the patriotic thing to do in 2009 would be to buy Japanese?

BTW, don’t hassle me about being confused: it ain’t just the Ford Foundation, the article says the Ford Motor Company also.

Sadly folks, it looks like we’ve elected a real live communist to serve as president.

Soros — take a look at the number of companies he has major stock in — most of the telecommunications companies and ask why? He bought up companies after Obama formally announced like Level 3 Communications out of CO who were big donors to Obama for the Convention, etc. not to mention bundlers. Follow the money and it will lead right through the puppet ZERO to Soros.

Does anyone remember? In the 60s there were many off-spring
of our big industoriist went on the talk shows and denounced their inherited money.
I watched as these people that denounced our form of goverment then are still at it today.Now they are calling the shots.

Our freedoms allows a “common man” to become wealthy (New Money) This is a threat to the “Old Money”.
This is why the old money Republicans dislike Palin.

Soros knows what he is doing. As did the elder Rockefeller.

But the young Astors, Goulds and Vanderbilts of the 1890's had no better idea of what they were doing than the Kennedys, Sulzbergers and Teresa Heinzs have today.
