Yes that is true. I have never had much of an opinion on Panetta. I always thought of him as a seat warmer.
But if this is true..then I will have to give him Props.

It was pointless to take the position, he knew the Administration would destroy the CIA’s reputation. Leon boldly put up a fight early on, but has been noticeably silent recently.
