What we need in PA is not secession but purgation, or amputation or whatever you'd call it when you lop off a rotten city. Pennsylvania would be a far better place if we cut loose Philadelphia. Sad but true. Make it a federal city, leave it at the fed gov's doorstep like a red-haired foundling.
Then do the same with P'burgh. After a while the fed gov will have a batch of bad cities to stand as examples of their disastrous liberal philosophies.
