DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Somali pirates holding a hijacked ship off the coast of Somalia fired at a U.S. Navy helicopter as it made a surveillance flight over the vessel, the first such attack by pirates on an American military aircraft, the Navy said Thursday.

This really pisses me off:
Since seizing the Win Far in the Gulf of Aden, the pirates have used the vessel as a base for attacking other commercial ships, including the U.S.-flagged Maersk Alabama.
Should've sunk it back in April.

Obama is no doubt preparing a letter of apology to the pirates for disturbing them, meanwhile AG Holder is probably instructing his flunkies to find a way to file criminal charges against the U.S. military personnel involved in the flight.

Please be advised that the naval officers who were fired upon will be indicted immediately for being American in the line of duty, and they shall be reassigned without pay in the interim during the investigation of their clear and present pro-United-States stance.
The charges that are to be pursued are as follows:
1) Felony Aggravated Patriotism, II
2) Felony Armed Service
3) Misdemeanor Flying While Caucasion
4) 4 counts each of Misdemeanor Failure to Die.
