Absolutely. But I dont know that the Apollo Alliance has done anything illegal. ACORN by contrast is a criminal enterprise and thanks to Glenn the powers that be in Louisiana have launched an investigation. They are really feeling the heat.

Have you (or anyone else here) attempted to research the Apollo Alliance on the Internet?

Their web site is rather colorful, in that it focuses exclusively on support for "renewable (green) energy". Dig a little deeper and you'll find a broader range of interests including "social justice" and "economic justice". You might also notice that they are funded as a 501(c)(3) project of the Tides Foundation, which is quite possibly the center of the Progressive money universe.

Other than that, Google turns up pretty much nothing.

Interestingly, David Horowitz's discoverthenetworks.org does not contain a unique entry for them, either.
