OBUMMERCARE ... Let me get this straight. Obummer's health care plan will be written by a COMMIE-tee whose head says he doesn't understand it, passed by a CONgress that hasn't read it and whose members will be exempt from it, signed by a President who smokes, funded by a treasury chief who did not pay his taxes, overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that is broke. What could possibly go wrong?

However, one difference... I unlike the chick in the video did not expect the government to give me FREE health-care.
One thing that infuriates me are the people who say health-care is a right. No one is DENYING people the right to PAY for health insurance. Like the right to bear arms, YOU MUST PAY for some rights. Where is the government giving FREE guns to people?? I mean outside of ACORN. Sarc.

A brilliant point that must be repeated!

Watch all the videos. They are great.
She and the other funky young adults are clearly the products of a liberal art education at a lefty college.
They feel they have a right to a comfortable life in a nice downtown (e.g., New York) and good food at expensive restaurants. Yet, they want free healthcare if they get sick. And a free retirement plan (social security) when they get old.
Sheesh.
I’ve seen it and it is a great video. Has some great facts for you to write down and remember, for those days you are being challenged by ACORN operatives - who show up at rallies against Obamacare.
Health care is not a right, nor a privilege, but a service. The debate is whether the government and taxpayers should get involved in providing this service and pay for it, like we do for the police, public libaries, roads, etc. the "it's for the public good" argument.
There has to be a fair way to cover basic and preventative health care for American citizens without 1,000+ pages of Congressional legislation.
There is a government-run health care system in place already--the VA--which depending on the state, ranks from superior to horrible. Why don't they tackle that first. We could use more Urgent Care centers too.
